LOS ANGELES, CA — October 2026 — Ball Audio Distribution And System Solutions (B.A.D.A.S.S.) will return to Capital Audiofest 2026, November 13–15 at the Hilton Rockville in Rockville, Maryland, for its third year in Suite 832, presenting the new Margules U4Oria personal listening system alongside the USA debut of an all-new “affordable” high-end audio system from the Margules Group’s Magenta series — including the new Margules AVORA hybrid integrated amplifier, Monitor-3 speakers — and featuring the Athenamuse cable line from Korea.

Margules U4Oria: A Closer Way to Listen

The U4Oria pairs the Margules U4 open-back planar magnetic headphone with the Oria personal listening system. The U4 is built around a 70 x 95 mm planar transducer — an ultra-light 21-micron PET diaphragm driven by N50SH neodymium magnets — housed in ear cups machined from single pieces of selected solid wood and finished by hand, with a suspended leather headband, replaceable ear pads, and a 1.5-meter balanced OCC copper and silver cable.

The Oria brings source, digital conversion, and tube amplification into a single chassis: a Pure Class A OTL (output transformer-less) tube amplifier with a dedicated EL34 output tube per channel and no global negative feedback, complemented by an integrated high-resolution music server built around the ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC — supporting PCM playback to 768 kHz and DSD512 — with TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, NAS, USB, Internet radio, and Volumio Premium, plus Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi. A 4-pin XLR balanced output connects the U4 directly, with a 1/4-inch output, analogue line input, and preamplifier output rounding out the system.

The U4 headphone is priced at $3,000 and the Oria amplifier/streamer at $5,000; the complete U4Oria bundle is available for $7,000.

USA Debut: Magenta Series Entry-Level System

Debuting at Capital Audiofest — demonstrated for the first time anywhere in the USA — is an all-new “affordable” high-end audio system from the Margules Group’s Magenta series: the AVORA hybrid integrated amplifier ($2,850), the MS-01 music server/streamer ($3,500), and the Monitor-3 stand-mount loudspeakers, $2,900/pair. Margules AVORA: Your Gateway to the Margules Sound Debuting at Capital Audiofest as part of the Magenta series is the Margules AVORA hybrid integrated amplifier — the entry point to a new generation of Margules components and a gateway to the Margules sound. AVORA pairs a single 12AU7 dual-triode vacuum tube input stage with a high-current solid-state output stage, delivering 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Its high-current power supply and low output impedance provide the current reserves and loudspeaker control to reproduce demanding musical passages with a dynamic authority that extends beyond its nominal rating — the harmonic richness of tubes with the speed and control of solid-state

amplification.

AVORA incorporates Margules’ proprietary ANA® (Aligned Neuro-Acoustics) technology, preserving the temporal relationships between a signal’s fundamental and its harmonics for natural tonal balance, spatial coherence, and precise instrumental definition.

As a complete integrated amplifier, AVORA combines preamplification, source selection, phono amplification, and power amplification in a single chassis, with two auxiliary line-level inputs and a dedicated phono input — a full music system without a separate preamplifier or external phono stage.

AVORA also introduces a new visual identity for the next generation of Margules components: a contemporary, understated enclosure distinguished by a translucent level meter that gives the front panel a sense of depth and transparency.

Magenta Monitor-3: Naturally Captivating Sound

Completing the Magenta system are the Monitor-3 stand-mount loudspeakers. Margules designed the Magenta Monitor to reproduce naturally captivating sound with very high precision, with remarkable linearity in frequency response that makes it an ideal solution for professional recording studios as well as home or office spaces. Its size, design, and construction generate multiple layers of sonic depth with spectacular detail, resolving subtle variations in instruments and voices with a relaxed and captivating sound. The monitors can be mounted on a stand or shelf.

Long-excursion 13 cm drivers with resin-hardened carbon fiber paper membranes pair with a soft-dome tweeter to reproduce practically the full audible range. The drivers are mounted in a high-density cabinet inspired by organic elements — easy to clean, repair, and hydrophobic — whose acoustic characteristics minimize the comb effect, corner diffraction, and coloration by spurious resonances. An advanced first-order crossover preserves phase coherence and group delay, with proprietary amplitude and impedance control delivering consistent response from

each transducer.

Athenamuse manufactures its conductors to proprietary in-house specifications developed through long-term research and exhaustive listening tests, then subjects each conductor to a signature confidential treatment — ARP (Athenamuse Re-creation Processing) — applied both before and after assembly, finishing with sonically optimized shielding and Teflon insulation. The lineup spans the Eureka series (OCC copper), the Artes series (OCC silver), and the flagship Miracle series, covering speaker cables, RCA and XLR interconnects, USB, power cables, and jumper cables.
