La Verne, CA USA: Harmonia Distribution is proud to announce the North American debut of the Fyne F1-10 Anniversary loudspeaker at Capital Audio Fest November 13-15, 2026 at the Hilton Rockville Hotel in Rockville, MD
Glasgow, Scotland: FYNE AUDIO is marking its 10th anniversary by unveiling its most advanced and ambitious loudspeaker to date: the F1-10 Anniversary. Hand-built in Scotland and limited to just 30 exclusive pairs worldwide, the F1-10 Anniversary builds upon Fyne Audio’s first flagship loudspeaker range, introducing an exceptional collection of new technologies, materials and acoustic refinements.
At the heart of the F1-10 Anniversary is an extensively re-engineered 250 mm IsoFlare point source driver with Fyne Audio’s established constant-directivity architecture. This features updates of almost every component, including an advanced 75 mm aluminosilicate glass dome high-frequency compression driver, multifibre cone, and new hand-built crossover.
Externally, the F1-10 Anniversary is the first product to integrate Fyne’s SuperTrax technology into the speaker itself. The cabinet fit and finish remains of the highest standard, with each hand-built pair undergoing final testing and approval under the direction of Dr Paul Mills.
Commented Anji Sosna, Managing Director at Fyne Audio, “The F1-10 Anniversary is a very special product, in that it represents a tour-de-force of Fyne innovation and our most technically advanced loudspeaker to date. It celebrates 10 years of success at Fyne Audio and serves as a statement piece that introduces technologies and innovation that will underpin the brand for the next decade.”
Aluminosilicate glass dome tweeter
For the F1-10 Anniversary, Fyne Audio has advanced the IsoFlare principle further with the introduction of a completely new 75 mm compression driver diaphragm formed from ultra-thin aluminosilicate glass. Aluminosilicate is an advanced glass formulation enriched with aluminium oxide that makes it incredibly thin, light and very strong.
The surface is then chemically changed through an ion treatment process to give the dome structure incredible damping properties, eliminating break-up modes across its entire operating range (750 Hz – 26 kHz). The glass dome is terminated to the IsoFlare’s compression assembly with an innovative Polyethylene Naftalate (PEN) surround tuned to the lightweight glass dome. Using a neodymium magnet and edge wound Copper Clad Aluminium (CCAW) voice coil, the design offers incredible power handling while suppressing resonances more than seven times more effectively than conventional metal domes.
Its large diameter design also allows a very low crossover point to the mid/bass cone (750Hz). This ensures the benefits of the glass dome are deployed across much of the critical vocal range, while an all-new CFD modelled waveguide precisely controls the release of high-frequency energy into the room.
Commented Dr Paul Mills, Technical Director at Fyne Audio, “Aluminosilicate glass, when treated, and implemented correctly, is measurably one of the finest large dome tweeter materials available. The aluminosilicate compression driver and other refinements give the new Anniversary IsoFlare driver exceptional bandwidth, speed and dynamic capability, with an incredible naturalness through the vocal and upper frequencies. The Anniversary represents our most sonically accomplished iteration of IsoFlare to date.”
Integrated SuperTrax™
If the new Anniversary IsoFlare driver represents Fyne’s latest evolution of its underpinning point source driver philosophy, integrating SuperTrax™ extends that philosophy into the ultrasonic spectrum and throughout the listening environment itself.
At the heart of the SuperTrax system built into the F1-10 Anniversary lies the precision-engineered Thin Ply Carbon diaphragm. Chosen for its exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio and highly controlled break-up characteristics, the diaphragm maintains pistonic behaviour well beyond the operating range of conventional dome materials while avoiding many of the resonant artefacts associated with metal diaphragms.
Positioned flat with the top of the loudspeaker, the driver’s output is directed vertically towards a Tractrix profile diffuser above, tuning the traditionally narrow dispersion UHF (Ultra High Frequency) energy into a perfectly controlled 360-degree wavefront. Much like many musical instruments themselves, the sound radiates out uniformly into the room, ensuring the most natural and realistic integration of UHF sounds and instrument harmonics across the spectrum.
Engineering the Signal Path
For the F1-10 Anniversary, Fyne Audio has developed an entirely bespoke, hand-built crossover that reflects the same uncompromising engineering philosophy evident throughout the loudspeaker. Every element has been chosen through extensive measurement, critical auditioning and long-term evaluation. The network itself is hard-wired by hand onto rigid fibre-board assemblies rather than conventional printed circuit boards, minimising vibration while allowing optimum component layout and signal routing.
Within the network, low-loss laminated-core inductors minimise magnetic losses while maintaining linearity under demanding dynamic conditions. High thermal stability non-inductive thick-film resistors ensure consistent performance regardless of operating level, while premium ClarityCap PUR polypropylene capacitors contribute an exceptionally low noise floor and remarkably low susceptibility to microphonic effects.
Each complete Anniversary crossover assembly then undergoes Fyne Audio's own in-house Deep Cryogenic Treatment. The process realigns components’ crystalline grain structure, relieving internal stresses left over from manufacturing. This in turn reduces resistance, minimises microscopic voids, and improves electrical conductivity and signal transfer. The result is audibly improved signal transparency.
Having tested hundreds of cables and wiring technologies over the past decade, Fyne’s engineering team chose Neotech™ PC-OCC internal wiring for its exceptional mechanical specification and auditioned sound. Premium gold-plated WBT Nextgen™ bi-wire terminals provide an uncompromising interface between loudspeaker and amplifier, alongside Fyne Audio’s fifth terminal for optional driver chassis grounding.
Built on Solid Foundations
Constructed from high-density birch plywood, the F1-10 Anniversary cabinet combines exceptional rigidity with carefully controlled damping characteristics that minimise structural colouration. Internal bracing is strategically positioned to maximise stiffness while coupling the drive unit to the enclosure through carefully selected damping interfaces. Internally, a twin cavity tuning system reduces internal standing waves and cone excursion around the tuning frequency for increased power handling.
The patented BassTrax™ Tractrix Diffuser System transforms the output from the downward-firing reflex port into a controlled 360-degree wavefront that exits the speaker between the two heavyweight layers of the massive plinth assembly. The design distributes low frequency energy evenly throughout the listening environment rather than projecting it in a single direction, affording more natural and instrument-like bass radiation and remarkable flexibility in room placement of the loudspeaker.
The plinth itself is fitted with robust top-adjustable support cones to enable precision levelling, and the F1-10 Anniversary is supplied with large, precision machined aluminium cups for the cones to sit on wooden or other delicate floors. The overall result is a cabinet that retains the fundamental architecture of the original F1-10 design, providing an acoustically stable platform for the Anniversary IsoFlare driver and its integrated SuperTrax.
Handcrafted in Scotland
Every pair of F1-10 Anniversary loudspeakers is individually hand-built, assembled and tested at Fyne Audio's Glasgow manufacturing facility, and will be numbered according to the very limited production. Each pair is supplied with machined floor cups, a precision hex driver for feet adjustment and Neotech single-wire jump leads.
Added Anji Sosna: “Production of F1-10 Anniversary is intentionally limited to just twenty pairs worldwide, in recognition of the time, precision and craftsmanship required to produce a loudspeaker that represents the very highest expression of Fyne Audio's engineering capabilities. Each pair stands not only as a celebration of the company's first decade, but as a lasting demonstration of the skills, knowledge and passion of the people who have shaped that journey.”
